I'm a bit confused - new chairs will have to write a procedure that will enable them to become chairs later on? > - Take the 70th RIPE meeting as an opportunity to > execute the new process for the first time and have the working group > re-affirm the new chairs under the new procedure. This is a bit confusing, I must say. If the working group agrees on new chairs, then there is no need of re-confirming. We can ask them to come up with a new procedure that is evaluated in WG, but is used for next chair(s) rotation. Don't add too much complexity, please ;) > > Shane and I, together with the new people, will continue to work on > creating an inspiring agenda for the upcoming meeting in London and > to prepare the new chairs for the upcoming change and of course, > after the hand over, will be available for advice and assistance to > ensure continuity of this working group in the transitioning phase. Thnx for all the work done in the past and in the future! Cheers, Jan Zorz
