All, For those who missed it... Cheers, -- Shane Begin forwarded message: Date: Wed, 23 Apr 2014 13:38:16 +0200 From: Marc Heuse <mh at mh-sec.de> To: IPv6 Hackers Mailing List <ipv6hackers at lists.si6networks.com> Subject: [ipv6hackers] Arin down to 1.0 /8 IPv4 addresses Hi guys, fyi: as it seems Akamai got 104.64.0.0/10 yesterday. This was 1/5 of the overall IPv4 addresses left for north america, more than 4 million IPv4 addresses. So now Arin has only 1 (aggregated) /8 left for addressing, which means that last phase of (phase four) should be initiated the next days ... My prediction on this was mid of May 2014, so I was off by 3-4 weeks. Please start to go into panic mode now :-) (if you are in north america) Greets, Marc -- Marc Heuse www.mh-sec.de PGP: AF3D 1D4C D810 F0BB 977D 3807 C7EE D0A0 6BE9 F573 _______________________________________________ Ipv6hackers mailing list Ipv6hackers at lists.si6networks.com http://lists.si6networks.com/listinfo/ipv6hackers
