    A simple combination of RCPT TO and MAIL FROM checks (in 8.9) help
    us decrease spam traffic *appx* by 80% before even accepting them...
Hmmm, then you have different spam sources than I have...
The vast majority of the spam received here has a valid
address in the RCPT TO which differs from that in the
MAIL FROM. My *personal* filter discards mail if the
To: and From: lines in the *header* contain identical
addresses, and that filters out a *lot* of spam. But
it's risky: occasionally it filters out valid mail too.
    
    Sometimes legal action is impossible or impractical if the sender is
    not in the same country as the victim...
Which means it's in fact impossible to take legal action
outside the US.
