Visa Information for Albania

Before travelling to Albania, pleasecheck whether you need a visa.

If you do require a visa, please be sure to apply for your visa no later than five weeks before travel. You will need a short-term visa (type C) and you can download the visa application form here.

Visa applications should be submitted to the Embassy or Consulate General of the Republic of Albania in the applicant's home country. You can find a list of embassies here.

General visa requirements:

• Visa application form
• Valid passport (passport must be valid at least 90 days from issue date of visa)
• Invitation letter from the host in Albania
• Passport-format photo (size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm), not older than 6 months
• Return ticket or itinerary (copy of driver's license and insurance if you will travel by car)
• Proof of sufficient funds for staying in Albania
• Health insurance, for the entire visa duration
• Visa fee
