Internet Measurements

RIPE Atlas

RIPE Atlas is our main Internet data collection system. It is a global network of probes that measure Internet connectivity and reachability, providing an unprecedented understanding of the state of the Internet in real time. Users can access this data via Internet traffic maps, streaming data visualisations, and an API.

RIPEstat

RIPEstat offers essential information on IP address space, ASNs, and related statistics on specific hostnames and countries. RIPEstat is available via a User Interface (UI), widgets that can be used for visualisations, and a Data API.

RIPE Atlas Anchors

Anchors are both enhanced RIPE Atlas probes with more measurement capacity, as well as regional measurement targets within the greater RIPE Atlas network. Anchors also form the backbone for the DNSMON measurement system.

Routing Information System (RIS)

We collect and store Internet routing data from several locations around the globe, using the Routing Information Service (RIS). This data is available via RIPEstat.

IXP Country Jedi (alpha)

The IXP Country Jedi provides visualisations of Internet traffic paths (traceroutes) between RIPE Atlas probes located in the same country showing out-of-country detours and IXPs in paths.

RIPE IPmap

RIPE IPmap is an API that maps core Internet infrastructure by providing geolocation data for Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), transit providers, and routers within autonomous systems.
