RIPE NCC General Meeting October 2006
The RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) October 2006 was held on Thursday, 5 October 2006 from 17:00 - 18:00.
The GM was held adjacent to the RIPE 53 Meeting which took place from 2-6 October 2006 at the NH Grand Krasnapolsky Hotel, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
There were 40 attendees excluding RIPE NCC staff, non-voting guests and observers from the other Regional Internet Registries.
Highlights
The RIPE NCC members unanimously approved the Charging Scheme 2007.
The presentations given at the General Meeting can be found online.
Upon approval by the RIPE NCC Executive Board the minutes from the General Meeting are published on the RIPE NCC website.
The RIPE NCC would like to thank its membership for its input and support given at the General Meeting.
Voting and Resolutions
Candidate members could attend the meeting, but were not allowed to vote according to article 16.3 of the RIPE NCC Articles of Association. Members who could not attend the GM could vote by means of proxy voting, as per article 16.4.
The meeting could only pass resolutions that had been submitted and published according to articles 15.3 and 15.4 of the RIPE NCC Articles of Association.
RIPE NCC Reports October 2006
The RIPE NCC reports for the GM were presented in the RIPE NCC Services Working Group on Thursday, 5 October 2006 from 16:00-17:00. GM attendees that had not registered for the RIPE Meeting were welcome to participate in this Working Group session. The RIPE NCC reports were not repeated in the GM.
