We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Senior HR Advisor to join our fun and ambitious HR team. In this role you are an active business partner for managers and staff when it comes to personnel management, employment law issues, compensation and benefits, culture change issues, the co-development and implementation of HR policy and other HR topics. You are able to lead complex HR projects and actively provide input to the further development of the HR strategy and policies. Senior HR Advisor / HR Business Partner

Location: Amsterdam Central Station

Full-time/part-time working week is possible

 

In this broad and varied position, you will as a business partner work closely with the various managers within the organization. You advise, coach and support them in all aspects of HR and personnel management. You act as a mediator in conflicts and you are able to formulate and implement HR policies and lead complex HR projects from start to implementation. You act as a sparring partner for the HR Director and will take over tasks where necessary. In addition, there is an important role for you in increasing employee engagement, with the aim of increasing the connection with and between RIPE NCC employees and managers, increasing job satisfaction, vitality and knowledge, so that employees can function optimally. 

 

In this role:

  • You are, in collaboration with the colleague HR advisor(s), responsible for sound HR advice to managers and staff. As the senior you will be responsible for complex HR advice issues.

  • You have a proactive role in the further development of HR policies. You’ll create and roll-out improvement proposals.

  • You proactively ensure that our HR strategy and policies remain in line with developments in tax and employment law.

  • You will lead impactful HR projects around employee engagement, workplace safety and diversity & inclusiveness from start to finish.

  • You are an advisor in the field of compensation and benefits.

  • You ensure that our knowledge remains up-to-date regarding developments in the field of (international) employment.

  • Support managers in absenteeism management.

  • You are a sparring partner and coach for the HR team and you support them in their development.

  • You give recommendations to the HR Director about the HR policy and the implementation strategy and come up with concrete proposals for improvement.

  • You give presentations to managers and staff on relevant HR topics and HR developments.

  • You are visible and approachable to employees and managers.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum completed bachelor's degree in the field of HR or related.

  • At least 8 years of work experience in an HR advisory role.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch. The working language within RIPE NCC is English.

  • Solid knowledge and experience in the field of employment law.

  • Thorough knowledge and experience in cultural change issues.

  • Connector, proactive attitude, socially set and a team player mentality.

  • Good project management and coaching skills.

  • Good presentation skills.

It's a plus if you have:

  • Experience with AFAS

  • Knowledge and experience in the field of global mobility and international tax regulations.

  • Knowledge and experience in the field of pension schemes.

What can you expect from us:

  • An annual salary between €60.000,- and €75.000,- gross. This includes 8% holiday pay.

The HR team:

The HR team consists of an HR director, three HR advisors, each with their own specialisms (from Recruitment, to HR advice, to payroll, etc.) and an HR administrator. As a team we work closely together and we are constantly working on improving the HR procedures and HR policy. In the senior HR advisor role you will also work closely with other departments within RIPE NCC and you can act as a substitute for the HR Director.
