Senior Recruiter (new position!)
Location: Amsterdam Central Station
22,5 hours per week (3 days per week)


As a Senior Recruiter, you will take a lead role in further professionalising and implementing the recruitment process within the RIPE NCC. You will be responsible for all aspects of recruiting in the company, including candidate experience, social media and our new referral programme. The RIPE NCC is in the midst of professionalising our employer branding and you will play a key role in ensuring its ongoing effectiveness in collaboration with the Communications Team.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and execute the full recruitment cycle for 20-25 vacancies per year (from intake with the hiring manager to preparing the labour contract and everything in between).
  • Annual development and execution of the recruitment and employer branding plan, working closely with your colleagues in the Communications Team.
  • Further enhance the recruitment process, channels and tools.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through ongoing relationship management.
  • Deploy various sourcing strategies to tap into the right candidate group, out-of-the-box thinking is a must!
  • Set up and keep track of our recruitment KPIs

What we expect from you:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in international recruitment in (preferably) the IT industry.  Having both in-house/corporate and agency experience would be a huge benefit.
  • Good understanding of job markets and industry trends.
  • Wide range of experience and expertise on current external recruiting policies, practices and trends.
  • Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships. Pro-active. Able to influence key internal stakeholders. Good negotiator. Vigorous, decisive.
  • Excellent English & Dutch communication skills
  • Candidates must currently reside in the Netherlands in order to apply

It would be nice if you could also:

  • Have knowledge of relevant and creative sourcing tools and methods in the IT market.
  • Have experience with employer branding

The Human Resources Team:
The HR Team consists of 1 HR Director, 2 HR Business Partners, 1 HR Administrator and the vacancy for the Recruiter. The HR Team works closely together and is focused on professionalising the HR procedures and way of working. We are in the middle of an important transition: the HR Department is more involved as a business partner role instead of a service delivery role. This position is part of that evolution!
