We have three objectives in publishing our quarterly planning:
We launched this initiative in Q1 2022, and we are open to improving what we publish here and how we do that. So let us know if there are ways we can better present our plans.
We will update this page as our activities progress and continue to share updates on RIPE Labs, on the RIPE NCC Membership Discussion and RIPE NCC Services Working Group (WG) mailing lists, and at RIPE Meetings and other events.

|Developing training for WG chairs
Collaborating with the RIPE Chair team and Working Group (WG) chairs to define the needs and goals, develop and make available a training course that helps WG chairs complete their roles better.
The first part of the module has been finished and published on the RIPE NCC Academy.
|Development of LIR/RIPE NCC Member e-learning course
|Building a new LIR/ Member e-learning course to make new members aware of the benefits and requirements of the RIPE NCC membership.
|Development of an advanced IPv6 face-to-face course
|Building a new advanced IPv6 course to help learners design an IPv6 infrastructure as part of a phased approach to implementing IPv6. This course will focus on building IPv6 networks from scratch or based on existing IPv4 networks.
|Updating and adding new e-learning animations and videos
|In response to steady feedback, we will be adding and updating videos throughout the RIPE NCC Academy, adding accessibility options and sharing available on multiple platforms.
|User journey implementation
|Based on the feedback from the community and members received during the Needs Assessment and Usability Tests conducted in 2023, we will work on improving the user journey when accessing L&D's pages, information, and services with a holistic approach.
|IPv6 subnetting e-learning
|We will update e-learning content explaining how to calculate IPv6 prefixes in more detail.
Items completed in the last quarter
More information can be found on the archived plans page.
We want the community to contribute to our plans and suggest additional work items. Please share your comments with us or post them on the RIPE NCC Membership Discussion and RIPE NCC Services WG mailing lists. And we'll be monitoring all the other channels where people talk about these services.
We will be adding your feedback on this page as we progress with our plans.
|RIPE NCC Reaction
|In 2023, we conducted several in-person interviews and surveys to collect feedback from our members and the community (Needs Assessment and Usability Tests).
We will use that input in different projects to improve the user journeys and our services.
You can find our plans from the previous quarters on this page. The Q1 2024 plans will be archived once we publish the Q2 2024 planning.
