Item 1: Fourth AuthDNS core site
We deployed a new AuthDNS core site in Asia for increased capacity and resilience of our AuthDNS service. This was originally planned for Q4 2023 but was moved to 2024 due to external delays.
Completed in Q1 2024.
Item 2: Operating system update of DNS servers
We will finish updating the operating system of our DNS servers as part of the regular maintenance we do on all our systems.
With this change, we can offer ease of maintenance and benefit our members as they could make changes to their DNS configurations more easily.

Item 1: DNSSEC improvements (CSK + TTL for NS/DS)
We made some small changes to our DNS services. This included the move to a Combined Signing Key (from separate Zone and Key signing keys), lowering the TTL for NS and DS records for our members’ rDNS and upgrading Zonemaster.
With this change, we can offer ease of maintenance and benefit our members as they could make changes to their DNS configurations more easily.
