Taxi

A taxi ride from the airport to the city costs apx. AMD 4,200 (USD 10) to the centre and up to AMD 6,700 (USD 16) for the most distant parts of the city. Some drivers may try to scam you into paying more; a threat to call the police will convince them otherwise. Almost all taxis run by the metre (sheochik) so it's best to have local currency on you.

AeroTaxi is the official transport of Zvartnots Airport. Do not agree on the flat fee; insist on the metre rate (and check that the metre is switched on). In AeroTaxi cars, you'll have free WiFi and you can pay by card. You can pre-book your taxi or approach the AeroTaxi desk in the terminal.
