You will support and strengthen the Learning and Development Team to ensure our internal and external training courses and webinars run smoothly.

Training Coordinator

Amsterdam Central Station

22.5 to 37.5 hours per week

In this role, you will work together with experienced technical trainers and learning experts. You will take care of the day-to-day coordination and administration of scheduled training courses and deal with all logistical arrangements. You will work alongside another Training Coordinator as the backbone for the team. In addition to the daily activities of your role, you’ll also be a part of exciting projects that will give you an opportunity to enhance your technical and soft skills. You will work with the team on internal training courses customised for our staff. You will work with the team on internal training courses customised for our staff as well as our Train-the-Trainer (TTT) Programme. The TTT Programme is where we work with local trainers from our service region to help them with their presentation skills and technical knowledge so they can deliver training courses to our members. 

       In this role, you will:

  • Provide travel arrangements, procurement support and administrative support for the training courses and webinars
  • Announce training courses and webinars, send out invitations, manage registrations of the participants and act as a first point of contact
  • Design and carry out surveys regarding the training courses and webinars
  • Gather, prepare, verify and analyse statistics about the training courses for reports and articles
  • Support with the organisation of educational events like the RIPE NCC::Educa and tailor-made courses
  • Work together with different departments in the RIPE NCC to gather input on training needs and liaise with external suppliers (hotels, hosts, catering, shipping and printing)

     

    What we expect from you:

  • One to three years of experience in a Training Coordinating role or Event Organising role combined with administrative support experience
  • Motivated self-starter, able to proactively identify issues and propose solutions
  • Flexible and calm approach to work, you have the ability to use your own initiative and work with tact and discretion for dealing with confidential information
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills and an eye for detail
  • Business-level English
  • Currently living in the Netherlands
  • Available for a minimum of three days per week
