House Rules for Training Course Participants (Amsterdam)
Welcome, and thank you for joining us at our Amsterdam office! As the training course is taking place within our working office, where colleagues will be present throughout the day, we kindly ask you to read the following guidelines to ensure a comfortable and productive environment for everyone.
Arrival
- Upon arrival, please ring the doorbell and let reception know that you are here for the training course and your name and they will let you in
- Take the elevator to the third floor and wait in the reception/waiting area
- Someone from the L&D team will come to meet you, provide you with a visitor badge, and escort you to the training room on the fourth floor (Socrates)
- Please ensure that you wear your badge at all times during your visit
Access
- Access is limited to the Socrates meeting room, the barista area, and the toilets
- Please do not venture beyond these areas, as the rest of the office is a working environment
- Participants are kindly asked to be accompanied by a RIPE NCC host at all times, with the exception of trips to the toilet or barista area
- We operate on a basis of mutual trust and appreciate your cooperation
Barista Area & Toilets
- The barista area is available to you throughout the day. Please feel free to help yourself to coffee and tea
- The toilets are located downstairs, next to the barista area
- Coffee breaks during sessions will take place in the Socrates room
- Lunch will be served at the barista area
Phone Calls
- If you need to take a phone call, please step out to the barista area
- We ask that calls are not taken inside the Socrates room during sessions, out of respect for fellow participants
