The RIPE NCC Academy is the central hub for these activities. Whether you are new to Internet operations or looking to deepen your expertise, the academy offers learning opportunities for different experience levels and career goals.

E-learning courses

Self-paced e-learning courses that allow you to learn at your own speed.

Webinars

Live online sessions that provide practical insights, updates and expert guidance on specific topics. Participants can engage directly with presenters through questions and discussion.

In-Person training courses

In-person training learning courses that combine expert guidance with practical exercises and activities.

This way, you can apply concepts in real-world operational environments.

Our in-person training courses typically run from 09:00 to 17:00 local time. Lunch is provided, and the schedule includes breaks and networking opportunities, giving you and other participants plenty of time to connect and exchange experiences with your peers.

Levels

Our learning opportunities are designed for different levels of experience, allowing members to build their knowledge and skills over time. Each level is supported by certification exams.

Fundamentals: For those who are new to Internet operations or RIPE NCC services.

Advanced: For professionals looking to deepen their technical knowledge and strengthen their practical skills.

Expert: For experienced practitioners seeking specialised expertise in Internet operations and RIPE NCC services.

Get certified

Take one of our proctored exams and earn a digital badge that showcases your skills and knowledge to employers, colleagues and the wider Internet community. RIPE NCC members receive three exam vouchers per year for each LIR they hold.
