This is an update to the announcement made on Tuesday 7 July.
On Monday 13 July, the RIPE NCC removed all RIPE Database maintainer MD5 passwords that had not been changed since November 2011. These steps were taken as a preventative security measure. This decision was taken in response to discussion on the RIPE Database Working Group mailing list and in close consultation with the working group co-chairs.
If you find that you are locked out of your maintainer, you can still regain access to it using this process:
