Today we published a report on the state of the Internet in eight different countries in Southeast Europe. This is the fourth in a series of country reports we’re producing to share RIPE NCC data with members of the technical community and decision makers alike, in order to inform discussions about Internet development throughout our service region.
The Southeast Europe Country Report offers an analysis of the region’s current Internet number resource holdings and its history of development; examines Internet routing within the region and takes a close look at its access to the global domain name system (DNS); and investigates how the global Internet reaches networks within Southeast Europe. This analysis is based on what we can observe from the RIPE NCC’s measurement tools as well as a few external data sources.
