World IPv6 Launch 2012

The World IPv6 Launch took place on 6 June 2012. World IPv6 Launch was a global event in which organisations around the world enabled their content or services over IPv6.

Introduction to World IPv6 Launch

The World IPv6 Launch took place on 6 June 2012 and built on the success of the World IPv6 Day that took place on 8 June 2011.

World IPv6 Launch was a global event in which organisations around the world enabled their content or services over IPv6. As all of the RIPE NCC’s services and content had already been available over IPv6 for some time, we participated - as we did for the 2011 event - by extensively measuring World IPv6 Launch and contributing to local events.
