Fourth South East European (SEE) Roundtable for Governments and Regulators

The RIPE NCC organised this Roundtable for the SEE region to foster coordination between the public sector, regional regulatory bodies and the RIPE NCC.

We explored the current state of some global UN processes and relevant aspects facing regulatory agencies but also explored challenges and opportunities to strengthen multi-stakeholder collaboration in light of the WSIS+20 review process.

Participants were from governments, public sector UN agencies as well as representatives of the RIPE community. Discussions were held under the Chatham House Rule.

Reviewing the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA-24) outcomes

The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA) met in October 2024 in New Delhi to define the next four-year Study Period for ITU-T. Among the relevant items is Resolution 64 on promoting, facilitating and accelerating the transition to and deployment of IPv6.
