The RIPE NCC Signs New MoU to Renew Commitment with APTLD

The RIPE NCC and the Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association (APTLD) have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) renewing their commitment to cooperate on the promotion of Internet coordination activities.

The MoU was signed by Hans Petter Holen, RIPE NCC Managing Director and CEO, and Ai-chin Lu, Board Chair of the Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association, during APTLD 88 in Belgrade. Afterwards, Hans Petter presented an update from the RIPE NCC, followed by presentations from representatives of other organisations.

With this MoU, both parties reaffirm their intentions to mutually support Internet development through information exchange, participation in projects and events, promotion of open Internet standards, capacity building, and advocacy for the technical community and the multistakeholder model of Internet governance.
