Phishing Alert: Fake RIPE NCC “Technical Information Verification” Email

We have received several reports of a phishing email claiming to be from the RIPE NCC. The message asks members to verify their technical contacts and resources in the LIR Portal and uses the subject line “Final Reminder: Technical Information Verification Due 25 October 2025.”

This email was not sent by the RIPE NCC. Please do not click any links or share any details in response to it.

How to identify official communications from the RIPE NCC:

• Legitimate RIPE NCC emails are always sent from our official domain: @ripe.net
• Important member communications are shared via the RIPE NCC Announce and/or Members Discuss mailing lists
• Official announcements also appear as news items on www.ripe.net
