Charging Scheme Task Force Publishes Final Report

The RIPE NCC Charging Scheme Task Force has published its final report, outlining the principles to guide the development of a charging scheme model for the RIPE NCC.

The report is available as a PDF download or as a text version.

A draft report was shared in April 2025 to gather member feedback and was presented at the RIPE NCC General Meeting in May. Following member input, the task force has now revised the report and submitted a final version to the Executive Board.

The Executive Board will review the report’s recommendations. The RIPE NCC will draft a new Charging Scheme based on its principles, and though the task force’s work is now complete, its members will reconvene after the summer to review the draft Charging Scheme and check that it adheres to the principles set out in its report.
