Call for Nominations Open - RIPE NCC Executive Board Election 2026

Nominations are now open for candidates to stand in the upcoming RIPE NCC Executive Board election.

There will be an election to fill THREE seats at the RIPE NCC General Meeting.

Each seat is for a three-year term. The election will fill the seats currently held by Raymond Jetten, Maria Häll and Harald A. Summa, whose terms expire in May 2026.

Role and responsibilities

Before standing for election, we advise potential candidates to read the RIPE NCC Executive Board functions and expectations to understand what is expected in the role.

All those elected to the RIPE NCC Executive Board will be expected to fully take on the responsibilities and carry out their duties to the best of their abilities throughout their term on the Executive Board.

The following skills and experience would be beneficial to the RIPE NCC Executive Board:

- Experience in a senior management role

- Financial management

- Compliance and risk management

- Strategic management

- Good knowledge of the Internet governance arena

- Legal understanding

- IT/technology expertise

- Ability to communicate effectively

A person requires nominations from at least five RIPE NCC members, among other legal criteria, to become a candidate in the election.

To nominate a person, you must be a RIPE NCC member and a registered LIR contact to fill out the nomination form.
