ARTEMIS

ARTEMIS (Automatic and Real-Time dEtection and MItigation System), is a research effort between the INSPIRE group, FORTH, Greece (www.inspire.edu.gr) and the Center for Applied Internet Data Analysis (CAIDA), University of California San Diego, USA (www.caida.org). ARTEMIS studies detection and mitigation techniques for BGP prefix hijacking.

Internet Atlas - Tools for Digital Literacy

The goal of this project is the standardisation of methodology for monitoring of digital rights and freedoms in Serbia and adapting this online database for monitoring of digital rights and freedoms for use in any country or region. It will also create publication “Internet Privacy Atlas” for better understanding of internet architecture and infrastructure along with shareable media content on how infrastructures affect digital rights.

iSEND (Lightweight IPv6 SEcure Neighbor Discovery Implementation for Android Platform)

The goal of this project is to implement the first “SEND and Cryptographically Generated Addresses (CGA) for Android mobile devices in order to secure these devices from local network threats.

Let’s Connect!

Let’s Connect! provides an open source VPN solution allowing ISPs, hosting providers and businesses to easily set up a secure VPN service. Because it focuses on ease of use, security-minded people will even be able to deploy it in a home environment. After deployment, users have a safe path from all generic devices.

OpenBGPD

OpenBGPD is a free, open source implementation of BGP-4. It allows commodity hardware to be used as routers to exchange routing information with other systems speaking the BGP-4 protocol. The software is freely usable and re-usable by everyone under a BSD license.

The Cryptech Project

The main goal of CrypTech is to create an open source design for a hardware cryptographic engine for Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and an associated reference implementation that allows anyone to develop, deploy and audit a secure, low-cost cryptographic engine in their chosen environment.

Tajikistan K-Root DNS Mirror

The goal of this project is to increase sustainability of local Internet segment by routing local traffic to/through local K-Root DNS.
