Following an open call for volunteers, the RIPE NCC Executive Board has appointed Aydin Aslaner and Fiona Krakenbürger to the RIPE NCC Community Projects Fund selection committee.
Since 2017, the Community Projects Fund has been supporting projects of value to the Internet's operation and resilience.
Earlier this year, a call was launched for two new volunteers to join the selection committee. After receiving twelve applications from community members and after careful consideration, the Executive Board chose Aydin and Fiona. The new additions replace Tim Wattenberg and Burt Hubert whose terms have ended.
The Community Projects Fund will open for 2022 applications very soon.
