On 1 March 2018, the RIPE NCC and other Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) were each allocated the equivalent of a /21 of IPv4 address space from the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA).

On 31 January 2018, the RIPE NCC held a one-day workshop for Russian Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) in Moscow. The workshop was organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation and attracted 19 participants.

The RIPE Network Coordination Centre (NCC), in cooperation with Data Consult, recently gathered key stakeholders in the Lebanese banking sector for an important roundtable discussion on secure banking and Internet banking resiliency.

On Monday, 22 January 2018, the RIPE NCC hosted a Roundtable Meeting for Governments and Regulators in Brussels.
