Dear RIPE NCC members, This is a special edition ahead of RIPE 85, which takes place next week from 24-28 October. Alongside the RIPE Meeting, we will also have our RIPE NCC General Meeting on Wednesday, 26 October. We will also have Working Group sessions throughout the week where you can discuss current topics and participate in chair selections. And RIPE 85 will have several exciting social sessions, parallel events and coffee breaks that are the perfect opportunity to network with fellow engineers, operators and Internet stakeholders. In the first half, there will be updates on the ASO AC, a RIPE NCC policy update and a policy proposal on removing mandatory IPv4 PA assignment registration in the RIPE Database. Information Services -- MAT Working Group Session The MAT Working Group session will take place at RIPE 85 on Thursday, 27 October from 09:00-10:30 (UTC+2). The election will take place at RIPE 85 from Tuesday, 25 October at 16:00 (UTC+2) until Thursday, 27 October at 17:00 (UTC+2).
