I don't particularily want to run an Akamai node on that, so I'm wondering
what insane amount of disk io is expected that warrants about 1400 EUR
for hard disks.

For a measurement *target* (as in "Atlas Anchor" <<<), I can't see much
disk io except "boot".

To run local measurements, some disk space to save away results that
cannot be transferred to the master cloud server right away is a good
thing, but it does not need to be SAS, 15k, or 4 disks.

Adding to this the requirement for this to be replaced every 36 months,
I'm not sure whether we'll be interested in participation any longer - we
don't want a "RIPE engineering department in a box" box, we want something
to replace the measurements done by the TTM network.
