  I don't see the direct relevance or usefulness of either of these
  metrics, because there is no (or not necessarily a) relationship
  between the structure of the name-space and the Local-IR activity or
  even the routing announcements. Of course there is some relation in the
  case of some commercial ISPs which register their customers within
  their own domain.
  
  More or less the same is true, I think, for the routing announcements,
  although I'd agree that this usually shows a higher degree of
  congruence. And it would add incentives for CIDRization, wouldn't it!?
  
  Completely off track?
