Yes. This consultation has nothing to do with ENUM at all. [Though I
suppose VoIP makes more sense when ENUM provides the rendezvous
mechanism.] Apparently British Telecom asked the regulator about
getting a number range for VoIP some time before there was interest in
ENUM. The fact this consultation is not linked to ENUM will become
clear when the Department of Trade and Industry -- not the regulator!
-- issues a consultation on ENUM. That should be out next month.
