WHOIS changes

Hallo,

I tried to trace back some suspicous adresses - but This is what I got 
from the WHOIS request:

following the information, I got this:
"These changes alter the default output of the Whois server.
   If you need the old output, you can get it by using the "-B"
   and "-G" flags, like this:
      whois -B -G 193.0.1.17:"

But how  and where do I change the settings?
