automatic queries

We would like our server to be able to query Ripe automatically to  
obtain the name of the owner of an IP address.

Such a query would occur whenever our server receives an http request  
from an unknown remote address.

We would program the function in Java.

Could you point me to a place in your documentation that will show us  
how to use the Ripe database in this way?
