At 12:11p +0000 06/26/2003, Mark McCarron didst inscribe upon an electronic papyrus:
I'm interested in your opinions and ideas. 'Mailing lists' as I said are unimportant however, this does not mean that they will not (or cannot) be sent. The only difference the end user will notice will be the graphic download and the delayDownloading graphics is UNACCEPTABLE.
Go back to the drawing board, and do not bother to propose any more "solutions" which have anything to do with graphics. See you in a few years.
Our goal is this. End Spam, not legitimate use.
My goal is to annihilate HTML mail. Or did you mean simply an "attached" file? Even so, attached files may be stripped by some systems. Or did you mean, say, an x-header with an HTTP URL in it? Please describe your graphic-downloading idea, dead in the water though it be. thanks, -Walter
