On March 28, the RIPE NCC met with the representatives of UZINFOCOM during Universal Acceptance Day in Yerevan, Armenia. The parties discussed the plan for the deployment of the first K-root node in Uzbekistan.
The deployment of the K-root server in Uzbekistan aims to increase the fault tolerance and the stability of the DNS operation. This project will increase the geographical distribution and the overall stability of critical global DNS infrastructure.
UZINFOCOOM is a Single Integrator for the creation and support of state information systems of Uzbekistan.
