On Tuesday, 22 February 2022, the RIPE NCC held a virtual Roundtable Meeting for government representatives and regulators in Europe.
Around 40 participants joined the meeting which featured presentations on operational challenges from legislation, upcoming ITU events and the global Internet governance, as well as updates from RIPE NCC’s Managing Director, Hans Petter Holen, and the RIPE Chair, Mirjam Kühne.
Our Roundtable Meetings offer government officials and regulators the opportunity to discuss and exchange thoughts on governance issues relevant to the RIPE community, and to get a deeper understanding of complex technical topics. We have been holding these meetings since 2005 in Europe and the Middle East.
