Intermittent Connection Issues and RIPE Labs
Archived: Webform Interruption

From around 16:00 UTC+1 on Tuesday 6 December to 12:00 UTC+1 on Friday 9 December 2016, two webforms on were not functioning correctly. We investigated the problem and discovered that this fault was caused by a recent server patch. Normal functionality has been restored. If you tried to contact the RIPE NCC during the time period in which our webforms were affected, please try again to ensure we receive your communication. We apologise for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

Archived: Interruption to Billing Services in LIR Portal

There will be an interruption in the LIR Portal's billing section due to scheduled maintenance from approximately 20:00 UTC+2 on 30 November 2016 until 02:00 UTC+2 on 1 December 2016. During this period, members will be unable to pay invoices or make online payments to the RIPE NCC. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Today, at around 13:00 UTC+1, our Amsterdam office suffered a power outage. This is causing inbound and outbound telephone calls to fail. We are investigating the problem and will find a solution as soon as possible. You can still get in touch with the RIPE NCC online.

Reverse DNS Provisioning Delay
Archived: Temporary Reduction of Available History on RIPE Atlas, RIPEstat and DNSMON

On Tuesday, 18 October 2016, between 09:00 and 10:00 UTC, the back-end storage cluster for RIPE Atlas and RIPEstat will be switched to a backup environment. This is part of planned maintenance work. The backup facility has a more limited amount of storage space, which means that RIPE Atlas, RIPEstat and DNSMON will not serve data older than one year. We expect this to have no impact on ongoing RIPE Atlas measurements, scheduling new measurements, or the retrieval of more recent data from RIPE Atlas, RIPEstat or DNSMON.

RIPE Atlas Website Down

The RIPE Atlas website was unavailable from approximately 13:30 - 14:20 UTC due to a database error. The issue has been fixed and we apologise for any inconvenience this caused.

Archived: Intermittent Telephone Issues

We are currently experiencing a problem with our telephone connection. This problem continues from our announcement last week, which is not yet fully resolved.
