RIS-related Data Calls in RIPEstat

RIPEstat is experiencing operational issues with RIS-related data calls. Delays on some RIPEstat datasets that have RIS-based datacalls or widgets could extend up to five days depending on the dataset.

We are investigating and will update this service announcement when we know more.

On 3 February, between 08:00 and 09:00 (UTC+1), RIPEstat experienced operational issues with RIS-related data calls.

Update: 3 February, 10:30 (UTC+1) An initial post-mortem showed that the failed requests were caused by a hiccup in our backend system. Affected data calls were: related-prefixes, prefix-overview and network-info.

Update: 4 February, 14:00 (UTC+1) RIPEstat continues to experience delays on some datasets. Data calls from 1 February onwards might have been affected.

Update: 9 February, 12:30 (UTC+1) The reported issues are ongoing and investigations are still underway.

Update: 10 February, 12:00 (UTC+1) The main problem appears to have been caused by a network hardware malfunction. RIPEstat delays have gradually been returning to normal since 9 February, 18:00 (UTC+1) and all updates except RIS updates in RIPEstat have resumed normal operations as of 10:20 (UTC+1). We are continuing our investigations into the RIS updates delays.

Update: 16 February, 21:35 (UTC+1) All known issues have been resolved, including RIS updates in the RIPEstat dataset.
