RIPE Atlas Controller Reboot

On 2 March at 14:20, the RIPE NCC carried out a reboot of all RIPE Atlas controllers for security reasons. Given that a new firmware release was available for the probes at this time, it took longer than usual for the probes to connect back to their controllers. The impact of this may be visible in RIPE Atlas measurement results, and users may have noticed a brief fluctuation in the number of active probes displayed on atlas.ripe.net. The service is now running as usual.
