Investigating Issues with Backend Data Storage for RIPE Atlas and RIPEstat

We are looking into problems with our backend data storage
systems for RIPE Atlas and RIPEstat. While we continue to investigate the issue, we have switched to the backup system. The backup platform has a reduced amount of data, so it will not be possible for users to access historic information during the course of the investigation.

At present, we are not able to say how long it will take to resolve the issue. Updates will be posted as and when more information becomes available.

UPDATE: 13 February 2018

As of 13 February, 10:10 UTC, the backend storage system has returned to its normal operational state with full history available on all data sets.

We have identified some underlying problems causing memory issues on one
of the core nodes of the cluster, which led to the problems we experienced. We have implemented immediate and more long term improvements to avoid this from happening again.
