From henk at ripe.net Tue Jan 27 18:48:09 2004 From: henk at ripe.net (Henk Uijterwaal (RIPE-NCC)) Date: Tue, 27 Jan 2004 18:48:09 +0100 (CET) Subject: Test boxes can now act as an IPv6 NTP Server Message-ID: Dear All, Several people have asked if their (IPv6 enabled) test box can be used as an NTP server for IPv6. We promised to have this functionality ready by RIPE47 and (barely) made it. As of today, this is possible. Simply configure your IPv6 NTP clients with the IPv6 address of your test-box and that's it. If you have a series C, D or E test-box (everything shipped after 1/1/2001), then IPv6 functionality can be added to your box for free. Simply contact our operators at tt-ops at ripe.net with an IPv6 address for the box and it will be switched on. For older machines, the hardware will have to be upgraded, please contact tt-ops at ripe.net for details. Kind regards, Henk ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Henk Uijterwaal Email: henk.uijterwaal at ripe.net RIPE Network Coordination Centre WWW: http://www.ripe.net/home/henk P.O.Box 10096 Singel 258 Phone: +31.20.5354414 1001 EB Amsterdam 1016 AB Amsterdam Fax: +31.20.5354445 The Netherlands The Netherlands Mobile: +31.6.55861746 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sir, it's not that we cannot help you, it's that we don't want to help you.
