Message-ID: <53D1176B.4070300@ripe.net> Dear colleagues, We are pleased to announce that applications from academics to attend the RIPE 69 Meeting in London from 3-7 November as part of the RIPE Academic Cooperation Initiative (RACI) are now being accepted: http://www.ripe.net/ripe/raci Packages include meeting registration and paid travel and accommodation. Students and researchers from within the RIPE NCC service region are encouraged to apply. The closing date for applications is Friday, 12 September 2014. Interested parties can apply via the RIPE 69 website: https://ripe69.ripe.net/programme/raci/application/ Why RACI? -------------- RACI gives students and researchers a unique opportunity to present their work to leading technical figures in the Internet world, receive feedback on their research from experts, and have their work published on the RIPE Labs website for community feedback. RACI also benefits the RIPE community by introducing newer members to the community who can give interesting presentations at RIPE Meetings that might not otherwise be seen. Students and researchers may wish to present topics relevant to the RIPE community, including (but not limited to): - Network measurement and analysis - IPv6 deployment - BGP routing - Network security - Internet governance Please spread the word among your networks and encourage suitable applicants to submit their interest. RIPE Academic Cooperation Mailing List -------------------------------------- A new academic cooperation mailing list is now available for those with an interest in the academic side of networking, as well as RACI itself. The goal of the list is to maintain and strengthen ties between the RIPE and academic communities by providing a platform for members of each community to connect and discuss matters of common interest. The mailing list is public and you are invited to join today: https://www.ripe.net/mailman/listinfo/raci-list/ Kind regards, The RACI Coordination Team (Chris Buckridge, Fergal Cunningham, Fatemah Mafi) From nominations at ripe.net Wed Jul 30 14:58:08 2014 From: nominations at ripe.net (Axel Pawlik) Date: Wed, 30 Jul 2014 14:58:08 +0200 Subject: NRO NC Call for Nominations: RIPE NCC Service Region Message-ID: <53D8EBE0.8010402@ripe.net> Dear colleagues, There is a call for nominations from the RIPE NCC service region to fill one vacant seat on the Number Resource Organization (NRO) Number Council (NC).
