We encourage you to come along if you're interested in building your web of trust. The signing process will happen as follows: 1. Before the party, you'll need to add your PGP public key to this keyring: http://biglumber.com/x/web?keyring=9837 The deadline for adding an entry to the keyring is Tuesday 16 November at 12:00. 2. At the party, you'll be provided with a printed copy of the keyring. You'll need to verify that your public key is listed correctly on it. 3. Each person present will read out the fingerprint of their own public key for everyone else to verify. Please bring an independent copy of your key fingerprint (eg. your business card) to read from. As each fingerprint is read out, you can mark your copy with a check mark. 4. Next, each person will confirm their identity by showing a legal document (such as a passport or a driver's licence) to the other participants. After you're satisfied with the identity of a participant, you can mark your copy with a second check mark. 5. At the end of the party, each participant will have a printed sheet on which they will have placed check marks to confirm public key fingerprints and identities. When you get home, you can download the keyring and sign each key that you have checked. After that you should send each signed key to the owner of the key, and perhaps upload it to a keyserver. The PGP key signing happens in the Ludovisi Room, where our lunches are held. It is in the first section of the room that is closest to the meeting registration desk. There is separate event in the second section of the room. - Nick > > Thanks, > > Carsten > > From mir at ripe.net Thu Nov 18 14:03:28 2010 From: mir at ripe.net (Mirjam Kuehne) Date: Thu, 18 Nov 2010 14:03:28 +0100 Subject: RIPE BoF - Thursday 18th November 2010 - RIPE 61 Activity In-Reply-To: <2CC070FC-E628-478B-A078-AEC548409B33@nosignal.org> References: <2CC070FC-E628-478B-A078-AEC548409B33@nosignal.org> Message-ID: <4CE52420.2080306@ripe.net> Dear colleagues, As a reminder: The RIPE BoF will take place today at 17:45 - 18:45 in the side meeting room. This document aims to be a guide of what to ask for exactly when IPv6 is a requirement in a tender or some contract and lists the various applicable RFCs for specific kinds of ICT equipment. The document is available on http://www.ripe.net/ripe/docs/ripe-501.html Please note that when using this document as a reference, as with any RIPE document, it might get superseded by new versions in the future. Many thanks to the authors and everybody who helped with proof reading, translation and feedback.
