From joao-ripe at c-l-i.net Tue Jun 14 15:19:39 2005 From: joao-ripe at c-l-i.net (Joao Damas) Date: Tue, 14 Jun 2005 15:19:39 +0200 Subject: EOF/Plenary RIPE 51 Message-ID: <63BEDF35-82C2-4A85-9765-EB019F67616C@c-l-i.net> Dear all, During RIPE 50 we had a very good and fully-packed agenda for the EOF/ Plenary sessions during the first half of the week. This was possible thanks to the work of a lot of people who delivered presentations, proposed them or helped contacting speakers, and of course the attendees. My wish is that we can repeat this success for RIPE 51. This will again require the participation of all the RIPE community. We already have a few initial subjects lined up, including: - Deployment of Wireless Broadband. Experiences in Korea. - talks on backbone design by a couple of ISPs - security subjects such as attack prevention - an introduction to the potential roles of certificates in authentication of address space advertising, with or without modifying routing protocols. - Reports from RIR activities We are looking for more quality presentations, particularly if they can share experiences, good or not so good, of ISPs in their daily business. If you or one of you colleagues would like to contribute, or if you just want to suggest a subject or a speaker, contact us at the From address of this mail or at meeting at ripe.net. RIPE is the work of everyone involved and I would like this message to be an invitation to all the RIPE community for participation. Every bit counts and is welcome. See you at RIPE 51 Joao Damas
