Best, Ignacio ============================================================== CALL FOR WORKSHOPS ICNP 2022 The 30th IEEE International Conference on Network Protocols Lexington, Kentucky, USA, Oct. 30th - Nov. 2nd, 2022 ============================================================== ICNP, the IEEE International Conference on Network Protocols, is the premier conference covering all aspects of network protocol research, including design, analysis, specification, verification, implementation, and performance. ICNP 2022 will host multiple one-day or half-day workshops in conjunction with the main conference, to be held in Lexington, Kentucky, USA between Oct. 30th - Nov. 2nd, 2022. We invite you to submit workshop proposals on any topic related to the main ICNP conference. ICNP workshops should focus on emerging research areas as well as boosting interactions among participants and community building. A workshop proposal for ICNP 2022 should contain at least the following information: - Name and acronym of the workshop. - Motivation and rationale for the workshop. ○ Please include the research challenges that the workshop will address and why the workshop is relevant to the ICNP community - Names, affiliations and short bio of main organizers, and a tentative composition of the organizing and program committees (as complete as possible). - Workshop format, i.e., expected number of presented papers, slot lengths, information about invited talks, panels, demonstrations, etc. - Expected number of participants and expected number of submissions. - Prior history of this workshop, if any, including number of submissions, number of accepted papers, and attendee count of previous instances. - Draft call-for-papers, including introduction and topics of the workshop. - Brief description of the dissemination plan (publicity, online presence, etc.). At least one organizer of each accepted workshop must be physically present during the event (unless ICNP 2022 is turned virtual due to pandemic restrictions). Workshops are scheduled to take place on October 30th, 2022. The organizers of accepted workshops are expected to setup and manage the workshop online presence (e.g., website, social media) and to disseminate the call for papers. ## IMPORTANT DATES - Workshop proposal submission: March 15th, 2022 - Workshop acceptance notification: March 22nd, 2022 - Workshop event: October 30th, 2022 ## OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES FOR WORKSHOPS Please note that the paper submission deadline of workshops should be around the beginning/mid of July and the camera-ready processing of conference papers, tentatively set as September 1st, must be met by all workshops as well. Also, the break times need to be the same across all parallel workshops. The workshop paper lengths are limited to six pages in IEEE Computer Society format. All the accepted papers need to be presented at the workshop.
