[policy-announce] 2012-07 Proposal Accepted (RIPE NCC Services to Legacy Internet Resource Holders)

Dear colleagues, 


Consensus has been reached, and the policy proposal 2012-07, "RIPE NCC Services to Legacy Internet Resource Holders", has been accepted by the RIPE community.

The proposal also amended the policies described in the RIPE Document "IPv4 Address Allocation and Assignment Policies for the RIPE NCC Service Region.

The RIPE NCC has already begun preparations to implement this proposal and we are currently working on creating the related documentation to be reviewed during the next RIPE NCC General Meeting in May. 

We will publish a more comprehensive implementation plan in the coming weeks.
