[policy-announce] 011-04 Implementation: Extension of the Minimum Size for IPv6 Initial Allocation

Dear colleagues, 

The RIPE NCC has received a significant amount of requests following the
RIPE community's recent acceptance of 2011-04, "Extension of the Minimum
Size for an IPv6 Allocation". 

In order to process these requests under this new policy, we must adapt
our internal infrastructure and produce the necessary request forms and
documentation. We will have these posted to our website shortly.

In the meantime, as of Monday, 9 July 2012, we will process requests for
extensions to IPv6 allocations under section 5.7 of the IPv6 Address
Policy. 

RIPE NCC members that would like to apply under this policy should email
<lir-help at ripe.net> for the time being.
