I hope you are looking forward to the OpenSource WG session at the upcoming RIPE.
I'm happy to announce that we got Scott Wilkerson from Nagios to attend and talk about the new Version 4 of Nagios and Nat Morris to talk a bit about to move and changes to a network with Open Source.

Abstract: Coming fresh from the Nagios World Conference, Scott will introduce some of the new additions to Nagios, including release information for Nagios Core 4. Additionally, the talk will include challenges associated with an open source project that begs to be extended, spawning thousands of addons/extensions for the project.  Finally, the talk will conclude with an open forum allowing attendees to ask questions and offer suggestions directly with a Nagios team member.
