I do also consider it one of the major benefits of a RIPE meeting to meet RIPE NCC staff in person, and to actually know who I'm talking to, next time I'm in a mail exchange with hostmaster at ripe.net... Also it helps the NCC staff to get a feeling for "real life" to be able to talk to people over coffee. Gert Doering -- RIPE member since many years -- have you enabled IPv6 on something today...?
