Dear colleagues, ENOG 18 will take place as a virtual meeting from 7-8 June 2021. In an effort to ensure that the ENOG community can benefit from the local network, even if the meeting is virtual, the RIPE NCC is keen to partner with local organisations across the region to host Remote Broadcast Hubs in the ENOG region. A Remote Broadcast Hub is a local meeting that takes place in parallel with the main virtual event where attendees can gather together and participate to the sessions online and network in person. ------------------------------------------------------------ Benefits of hosting a Remote Broadcast Hub ------------------------------------------------------------ Take the lead in bringing the local networking community together by hosting a Remote Broadcast Hub. This will give your organisation excellent visibility in the ENOG and RIPE communities. --------------------------------------------------- How to host a Remote Broadcast Hub --------------------------------------------------- As a host you will need to ensure that the following requirements are met and you can provide: - A physical place for two consecutive meeting days, provided that local COVID-19 restrictions are followed - A computer with a broadband Internet connection and a projector, to enable the hub attendees to watch the sessions (For more details about Internet connectivity, audio and video requirements, please visit: https://www.enog.org/enog-18/remote-hub/tech-documentation/) - A hub coordinator, who will lead the discussions as well as transmit the hub attendees’ questions or comments to the ENOG 18 sessions through the remote participation channel -------------- Interested? -------------- If you wish to host a Remote Broadcast Hub at ENOG 18, please send an email to <enog at ripe.net> before *Friday, 16 April 2021* with the following information: - Company name and contact information - City within the ENOG region interested in hosting the hub - Number of expected participants within the hub (within the limit allowed by the COVID-19 government restrictions/guidelines at the time of the event) - Possible topic(s) of interest Before applying, make sure you have read the Remote Broadcast Hub documentation: https://www.enog.org/enog-18/remote-hub/ Kind regards, Martina de Mas ENOG Meetings Team https://www.enog.org/enog-18/ #ENOG18
