[ncc-announce] [GM] Participate in the RIPE NCC Open House: Meet the Executive Board Candidates

Dear RIPE NCC members, 

We invite you to participate in the RIPE NCC Open House: Meet the Executive Board Candidates. The event takes place online on Wednesday, 12 May 2021 from 10:00 – 11:30 UTC.

There will be an election for two vacant seats at the RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) on 19-21 May 2021, each of which is for a three-year term. Members are invited to participate in the Open House to interact with the candidates in the running for the RIPE NCC Executive Board. 

The Open House is for you to ask candidates questions and have an open discussion. Questions for candidates can also be sent in writing to agm at ripe.net before the Open House.  

If you are unable to attend, the session will be recorded for you to watch at a later time. There will also be a dedicated mailing list where you can interact with the candidates and submit questions to them. The list will become active on 3 May 2021.

Call for Nominations

The call for nominations for the Executive Board elections will close in two weeks. Nominations and support submissions must be submitted by Wednesday, 28 April 2021. 

To make a nomination or to support a candidate, fill out the nomination form at:

A nomination for the appointment of a member of the Executive Board requires the support of at least five RIPE NCC members, among other criteria. You must be a RIPE NCC member and a registered LIR contact to nominate a candidate or support a nomination.

Nominations and support submissions should include the following information:
– Your full name
– Your email address
– Your organisation
– Your LIR RegID
– Name of the candidate you wish to nominate/support
– Email address of the candidate
– Reason for nominating/supporting the candidate

12 May: RIPE NCC Open House session with candidates for the Executive Board election
19 May: Registration closes at 16:00 (UTC+2)
19 May: GM begins with main meeting at 18:00 (UTC+2)
21 May: GM closes with voting results announcement at 10:15 (UTC+2)
