Dear RIPE NCC members, There are six days left to register to attend the RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) in Vienna, which takes place on 2 November. If you wish to attend, please register as soon as possible. You can register now at: http://www.ripe.net/gm-nov2011/registration Resolutions ----------- There are five resolutions to be voted on at the GM, including the RIPE NCC Charging Scheme 2011. http://www.ripe.net/lir-services/ncc/gm/november-2011/agenda The supporting documents for the GM are available at: http://www.ripe.net/lir-services/ncc/gm/november-2011/documents Documents will be available to RIPE NCC members on the day of the GM, but we ask that you read them prior to the meeting. Voting Period ------------- The voting period will begin after the resolutions are presented to the membership on 2 November and will remain open until 3 November at 14:00 (UTC +1). The extended voting period will give members in all time zones in the RIPE NCC service region adequate time to cast their votes. The deadline to register for electronic voting and for sending proxy forms has passed, but you can still vote if you attend the GM. The voting procedure, for those voting on site and for those voting electronically, is outlined in the following document: https://www.ripe.net/lir-services/ncc/gm/november-2011/voting-procedure The results will be announced at 15:45 (UTC +1) on Thursday, 3 November. Remote Participation -------------------- The GM will be broadcast live to members via webcast. A chat facility will also be provided for those wishing to join the discussion online. The same service will be provided for the announcement of the results on 3 November. An email inviting members to view the GM will be sent prior to the meeting. This will contain instructions on how to log in to the chat facility. If you have any questions on the GM or the voting procedure, please email <agm at ripe.net>. Regards, Axel Pawlik Managing Director RIPE NCC
